| Tx: Team tracks its
origins to 1983, when physical therapist and CEO Greg Jennings
formed the company. The mission was to build trusting relationships with
patients, physicians, nurses, case managers, administrators and
all others devoted to patient care, by providing quality therapy
services. Over the years,
their efforts have led to the formation and growth of several
companies, each of which is involved in different aspects of
rehabilitation services. Together, they represent a continuum
of care that is of great value to patients and to those
responsible for their care.
Tx:Team is a comprehensive
provider and manager of ancillary health care services with its
roots in rehabilitation. It is actually the collective name for
a group of health care companies, sharing common ownership.
Collectively, these organizations and their affiliates provide
services to patients and other health care institutions in
settings from proprietary outpatient clinics to hospitals and long-term
care centers to continuing care retirement communities, assisted
living communities and
homecare agencies.
The name Tx:Team was created
collaboratively, early in 1997, in order to unify these services
under one umbrella organization, though its core organization,
Tx:TeamRehab will celebrate its 25th anniversary in 2008.
The parent company,
Tx:TeamManagement,
offers an array of management and consulting services aimed at
assisting healthcare organizations to strategically deliver
quality rehabilitation services in a variety of rehabilitative care
settings. In addition, Tx:TeamManagement provides much needed link
between ancillary health care services and the patients and
insurance providers who provide and
pay for services. These services are made available to client
organizations as well as those companies within the Tx:Team
umbrella. |
